Andrew Tate’s House Arrest: When Will Top G be Free From “Ridiculous” Situation in Romania?
Detained by the Romanian government in 2022, social media influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were suspected of money laundering, human trafficking, r*pe, and other offensive crimes. Drawing significant global attention, the Tate brothers successfully maintained their innocence and alleged how their arrest was orchestrated.
In the meantime, Andrew Tate and his brother were kept in custody until March, following a 30 days extension by the court. However, recently on Friday, the 36-year-old took to his Twitter page to announce their house arrest for 30 more days as ruled by a Romanian court. Piers Morgan thus responded to the news stating, the brothers must either be charged or released with dignity.

Romanian Government Extends Andrew Tate’s House Arrest
Rising to global fame through his controversial statements on social media, the former kickboxer Andrew Tate was detained in Romania by the end of 2022. Involved in heinous crimes along with his brother Tristan Tate, the 36-year-old had a house raid and was arrested based on alleged r*pe, human trafficking, and money laundering cases.
Catapulting his popularity in 2016, after being removed from the British TV show Big Brother for attacking a woman, Andrew Tate went on to pursue his notorious fame, online. Gaining popularity among young men with his ultra-masculine and luxurious lifestyle, Tate was banned from Twitter for his misogynist and victim-blaming comments regarding s*xual assault.
Settled in Romania, and suspected of engaging in organized crime of exploiting women by force and creating p*rnographic content, the Tate brothers received 30 days extension following their March custody after their arrest. Even on a recent note, Andrew Tate tweeted on Friday about his house arrest being extended by the Romanian court. “Today I was ordered to 30 more days under house arrest” Tate tweeted.

Unaware of the reason for the extension, the 36-year-old mentioned being under constant vigilance. “Police guard my house. If I leave, they return me to the dungeon” he wrote. Drawing the sympathy of his fans, Tate further added, “I have not been free for a single day this year. I have not been charged with any crime”. Although fans shared their opinion regarding the news, English journalist Piers Morgan expressed his support for Tate.

Piers Morgan Responded To Andrew Tate’s Tweet
Following Andrew Tate’s arrest in Romania, along with his brother and two other Romanian citizens, the world curious followed the updates regarding the same. Constantly hearing the news of Tate’s custody extension, fans seem to grow frustrated with his tenure without any charges. Recently facing another extension of their house arrest, the 36-year-old’s tweet got surprising support from English journalist Piers Morgan.
Remaining on the side of the former kickboxers Morgan seems to be calling for his freedom. Supporting Tate’s innocence and drawing further attention to the case the 58-year-old retweeted Tate’s post stating, “This is getting ridiculous”. Throwing light upon the situation, Morgan wrote, “Romanian authorities must either charge him & his brother if they have actual evidence of crimes, or release them”.

Fighting for Andrew Tate and his brother’s release, Piers Morgan appeared requesting the Romanian authorities to either find evidence against the Tate brothers or simply release them with dignity. Andrew Tate, being a British citizen previously appeared on Morgan’s show several times. And now it seems, the two have grown close enough for Morgan to get involved in the controversial case and publicly support Tate.
