Actress Anne Hathaway who has appeared in numerous award-winning movies is regarded as one of the phenomenal actresses in the entertainment industry. Making her way into the industry by starring in 2001’s The Princess Diaries, Hathaway has proved her range of acting over the years.

Anne Hathaway admits to having cried on a date to get out of it

Actress Anne Hathaway during the promotional interview with Buzz Feed for Ocean’s 8 revealed that she did make herself cry to get out of a date. She appeared in an interview alongside Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina where they played the game of Never Have I Ever.

The question came up, “Never have I ever had an escape plan even for a date,” which was followed by Sandra Bullock asking them about what’s the worst thing they have done on a date to escape it. Hathaway instantly replied, “Cried” and her co-stars started laughing.

Ocean’s 8 was well received by the audience who loved the chemistry between the female characters and praised their acting. The movie was announced after filmmaker Steven Soderbergh announced that there would be no Ocean’s Fourteen as George Clooney wanted to go out on a strong note with their third movie.

Upon its release, the critics appreciated the efforts from the ladies however did mention that Ocean’s 8 wasn’t as smooth as its predecessors but was good enough for the audience to enjoy. Fans are still hopeful that someday in future, all the ladies might reunite for another heist.

Anne Hathaway says she feels lucky her Barbie movie was never made

The actress who could have easily played a Barbie on-screen, because of her gorgeous looks, admits that she feels lucky her Barbie movie never got made. In an appearance on Happy Sad Confused podcast, she shared that she was also attached to the Barbie project but now she has no hard feelings for Margot Robbie finally making it through. She said,

“What’s so exciting about what Greta and Margot and that phenomenal team did is they hit a bullseye. The bullseye caused the entire world to reach this level of ecstasy. Now imagine that version, that much energy, that much anticipation, that much emotion, but it’s not the right version. I actually think of it as a lucky thing.”

Hathaway who has always been a good sport did not hold herself back from praising Margot Robbie for playing Barbie. She said,

She noted that if the version she was attached to could have done that, she might have felt differently about it but Greta and Robbie’s version of Barbie was the best possible version. Anne Hathaway says she loves to watch women kill it and do well in their respective projects and fields.
