“Another disaster incoming”: Marvel’s Least Hyped TV Show Risks Repeating the She-Hulk Fiasco As Rumors Claim it’s Bringing Back a Hated Villain
Marvel Studios is no stranger to high-stakes storytelling. Many times in its pursuit to create profitable projects in perpetuity, the studio fails in delivering impactful content. This is what has been happening with Marvel venturing into the realm of television.
The shows have met with acclaim and criticism alike. Shows like Loki and WandaVision have captured audiences worldwide, but not all Marvel shows have seen success. Another show that might receive a lukewarm reception is in the making. If the rumors that surround the project hold some truth to it, Marvel is about to repeat a past mistake.
Wonder Man might be bringing supervillain Titania back. And this might not go over well with Marvel fans.
Marvel Might Be Bringing Back A Character Which Is Not Well-Liked Among Fans
Wonder Man has been in the making for a couple of years now. The filming had already begun in April 2023. Only to be halted by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Word is that filming resumed in January and the show wrapped in March.

The cast includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams aka the titular character Wonder Man, Demetrius Grosse as Eric Williams aka the Grim Reaper, and Lauren Glazier in a TBA role. The secrecy of Glazier’s character has raised some eyebrows and many questions. In the midst of this, rumors claiming the return of Titania, probably the least-liked Marvel villain don’t help.
As reported by Marvel Updates (@marvel_updat3s) on X (formerly Twitter), Titania and Wong will return in Wonder Man. This news needs to be taken with a grain of salt. But even the possibility of Titania’s return is not sitting right with fans. How things went with Titania in She-Hulk made one of the strongest villains in the Marvel Universe, a very disliked one.

Moreover, Ben Kingsley (Shang-Chi & The Legend of the Ten Rings, Iron Man 3) will also be reportedly reprising his role as Trevor Slattery in Wonder Man as well. This is not a show that a lot of fans look forward to. Marvel better rethink bringing Titania back, if that is what it plans on.
Fan Reaction To The Possibility of Titania Returning
Wonder Man is probably one of the most underwhelming shows on Marvel’s roster. Fans are not thrilled with the possibility of Titania’s return to the silver screen. Inherently, the supervillain is quite an interesting one. But it didn’t go well in She-Hulk. This is what brought quite a bad representation of the character altogether.
