Even though the post has been deleted by the actress now, the short period was enough to create a buzz on social media. Amy Schumer posted a picture of Nicole Kidman who attended the US Open. The comedian posted the Oscar winner’s picture sitting and watching the match and faced backlash as fans called it cyberbullying.
Amy Schumer Faced Social Media Backlash For Her Instagram Post
Comedian and actress Amy Schumer is well-known in Hollywood and has recently made headlines for something she might have never wondered about. Schumer faced backlash from fans as she posted a picture of Nicole Kidman on her Instagram when she attended the US Open. Fans after seeing Schumer’s one post that included the Big Little Lies actress, felt like the comedian was cyberbullying Tom Cruise‘s ex-wife. Amy Schumer captioned the post as “This how humans sit”, implying that Nicole Kidmap looked like an Alien with that posture. Fans then started commenting on Schumer’s post per Page Six, blasting the comedian:
“Are you cyberbullying Oscar and Emmy winner Nicole Kidman right now”.
“Bringing others down is always a sign of our own internal insecurities anyway, so the critics here should hold a mirror.”
“This post seems beneath you. What point are you trying to make here?”
“Wow so mean! I expected one of my favorite comedians to have more respect for other people’s feelings than this”.
After facing all these backfires, the I Feel Pretty star finally deleted the Instagram post and did not speak anything on this matter on any of her social media accounts. The Oscar winner Nicole Kidman looked stunning while enjoying the US Open, wearing a baby pink bodycon dress with a decent hairstyle. Kidman after watching Coco Gauff compete against Aryna Sabalenka on Saturday, congratulated the 19-year-old winner through her Instagram Stories.

Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie movie starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling has done an incredible collection. The movie has broken numerous records of A-lister actors movies. But it was not always Robbie who was to play the role of the stereotypical Barbie, it was Amy Schumer who was about to land on the role but fate had something else in mind. Not just the side roles but the main roles in Gerwig’s Barbie suffered changes and challenges at the same time.
Amy Schumer is known for her witty and boundary-pushing humor and was the one who could have been in Barbie and co-wrote the script. But eventually, the Trainwreck star dropped from the project. Amy Schumer was originally cast as Barbie in 2016 but a year later she announced she was leaving the project, citing “scheduling conflicts.” Schumer even told The Hollywood Reporter in 2022 that what she wanted and how she left the role:
“They definitely didn’t want to do it the way I wanted to do it, the only way I was interested in doing it, the idea that’s just what every woman must want, right there, I should have gone, ‘You’ve got the wrong gal.'”
The Snatched star’s vision for Barbie was of an inventor which couldn’t happen and she left the project. In 2019 it was confirmed that Margot Robbie would be the Barbie in the movie and as a result, she has done an incredible job. Barbie is this year’s summer blockbuster which broke numerous records at the box office.
