‘Are You Really Having a Good Time?’: Ricky Martin Screams at Crowd in Los Angeles Show After Nephew Dismisses Infamous Incest Allegations

Ricky Martin was recently accused of exercising physical and psychological attacks on his nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, during as well as after their seven-month-long relationship. However, the case was dismissed by the court earlier this week as his nephew withdrew the claims against the famous singer.

Ricky Martin performed for the first time after the incest case was dismissed

The famous singer performed at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday night in his first public appearance since claims made by his nephew were dismissed in court. The singer asked the crowd, “Are you really having a good time?” before performing with the L.A. Philharmonic Orchestra.

“All I want is for you to forget all your issues tonight and just focus on love and light and let’s just have a good time. Are you ready Los Angeles to have a good time?” The singer added. He then proceeded to give the crowd a show without mentioning the controversial court case.

His nephew withdrew the accusations

This week, the case was dismissed by the court as his nephew, Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, withdrew the claims he made against the famous singer. Lawyers Joaquín Monserrate Matienzo, Carmelo Dávila, and Harry Massanet Pastrana released a joint statement saying,

“The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter.”

Ricky Martin later talked about the case

The “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer later talked about the case, saying,

“Thank God these claims were proven to be false, but I’m going to tell you the truth, it has been so painful and devastating for me, for my family for my friends. I don’t wish this upon anybody. I wish him the best and I wish he finds the help so he can start a new life filled with love and truth and joy and he doesn’t hurt anybody else.”
