The 28-year-old will join the cast as a series regular, alongside Walker Scobell (Percy), Leah Sava Jeffries (Annabeth), and Aryan Simhadri (Grover). According to The Hollywood Reporter, Diemer appeared in a video from the Vancouver set, saying he was excited and honored to play the character.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Starts Production Next Week
Author Rick Riordan confirmed the exciting news on social media, hinting that the upcoming season will be based on the second book, Sea of Monsters.

In season two of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood a year after the events of the first season. Disney+ has written in the show’s logline:

Production for the new season is set to kick off in Vancouver, Canada, later this month. Fans are excited to see Percy Jackson and his friends again, but there’s no official release date yet for the second season. Riordan has revealed, though, that it will have eight episodes.
