After the success of ‘The Notebook’ Ryan Gosling reportedly went for a project at a paycheck that would not even buy him lunch at a seven-star restaurant.

The Canadian Actor, Ryan Gosling is repeatedly known for his outstanding acting in movies like, ‘The Notebook’, ‘La La Land’ and ‘Drive’ has risked his entire career for his first Ocas Nominated role in 2006 for a low-budget indie movie, ‘Half Nelson’. Per Telegram’s reports, the actor was paid only $1000 per week for this film. The entire shooting of this movie was wrapped in 23 days, meaning that the actor was paid only $3200 for his role. Even though Ryan did not win the Oscars for this movie, he walked away with an Academy Award. While signing this movie Ryan Gosling was at a very early stage of his career but had already tasted success through his outstanding performance in ‘The Notebook’.

Even though working with such a tiny paycheck was a wild decision at the end of Ryan, it turned out well. Ryan Gosling’s performance in ‘Half Nelson’ was magnificent and helped him to showcase his ability to the industry.
