Barry Keoghan Warns Fans About Uncomfortable ‘Saltburn’ Viewing Experience With Friends: “They’ll never talk again!”
During an interview for his Saltburn, Barry Keoghan gave a warning to his fans before going to watch his film.
Barry along with Jacob Elordi gave a virtual interview to Extra TV post the premier of their film at Los Angeles.
Keoghan and Elordi talked about the bathtub scene in the film, which got the biggest shocking reaction. Barry joked that he thought about any of it while filming the scene. They also talked about how wild the film is and what experience viewers can get while watching it.
Barry Keoghan Asks Fans To Not Take Their Best Friends To Watch Saltburn
The interview began with a question where the interviewer asked Barry and Jacob Elordi about the number of people present in the audience at the premiere, to which Barry replied “There were 1,643 people…not that am counting.” He also mentioned that it was “Beautifully Gothic.”
When asked about the most shocking scene in the film, the actor mentioned that he wanted “people to feel different.” As Barry said, he as an actor wants his audience to feel unique, whether they like it or hate it. He further warned his fans not to take their best friend to watch Saltburn with them as they might “never talk again.” He also mentioned that “best friends” will “become not best friends.”

What Was Barry Keoghan’s Role In Saltburn?
Saltburn is a black comedy and psychological thriller, written and directed by Emerald Fennell. The film was world premiered at the 50th Telluride Film Festival on 31st of August this year. The film is scheduled to be released on the 22nd of this month on Amazon Prime Video.
In the film, Barry Keoghan plays Oliver Quick, a student at Oxford University, who struggles to fit in due to his lack of experience in upper-class sensibilities.
Barry is known for his performances in Dunkirk(2017), The Green Knight and Eternals in 2021. He has received an Academy Award nomination and won a BAFTA Award as a ‘Best Supporting Actor’ in The Banshees of Inisherin.
