Bruce Willis shocked the entire entertainment industry after he was diagnosed with Dementia. The entire industry prayed for the well-being and speedy recovery of the actor. Reputed actors like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallon, and Jason Statham, who have collaborated with The Sixth Sense star were baffled and expressed their concern over his failing health on social media.
Recently, his wife Emma Hemming Willis shared a throwback video on Instagram and captioned it with a heartfelt message. The post read as
“When I was a little girl, all I ever dreamed of was to fall in love with the man of my dreams, the white picket fence, having a family, and to know what unconditional love feels like. The moral is, be careful what you wish for cause you just might get it.”
The footage showed the Willis family having a gala time out at a beach, and hiking amidst the greens. According to another footage, Bruce Willis was seen by his wife Emma Hemming Willis while she was lying in her maternity suite before giving birth to their daughter. The couple could be seen enjoying a bonfire at the beach.
The couple tied the knot in 2009 in Turks and Caicos after dating for two years. They even welcomed their daughters Mabel and Evelyn in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Despite their 23-year age gap, Emma Hemming Willis and Bruce Willis are an ideal couple when it comes to being there for each other.
Demi Moore Was Left Heart Broken When Bruce Willis Failed To Recognise Her
Back in the early 90s Demi Moore and Bruce Willis were one of the hottest couples in Hollywood. The Mortal Kombat actor duo legally separated in 2000 after being married for 13 years. They even share three children named Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Even after their divorce, the ex-couple has been there for each other. According to a media outlet Closer, Demi Moore was left heartbroken after Bruce Willis failed to recognize her due to his neurodegenerative disorder. As mentioned by an insider
“Demi kept in touch with the kids and Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming. But she had no idea he’d gone so far downhill. Demi could tell he really didn’t recognize her.”
The insider further explained that due to Demi Moore’s absence, the 68-year-old actor’s memories of her had faded as Frontotemporal Dementia can lead to severe cognitive impairment.
During an interview with Today in September 2023, Emma Hemming Willis opened up on her husband’s deteriorating condition. The ex-model said-
“Dementia is hard. It’s hard on the person diagnosed, it’s also hard on the family. And that is no different for Bruce, or myself, or our girls. When they say this is a family disease, it really is.”
