American actor Milo Ventimiglia rose to prominence after he got his breakthrough as Jess Mariano in Gilmore Girls. Apart from the comedy-drama television series, Ventimiglia also did a wonderful job in This Is Us, Heroes, Rocky Balboa, and Gotham. The 47-year-old actor has won various accolades including a Teen Choice Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
More than his awards, Ventimiglia is proud of learning crucial lessons throughout his film career. He believes that is what shaped him into what he is today. Learning from the past and embracing the lessons are very important. He surely understands this better than some.
Milo Ventimiglia Promised Himself To Not Date His Co-Stars Again
Milo Ventimiglia is set to become a father as his wife, Jarah Mariano, is pregnant. The couple is expecting their first child as announced by Mariano via an Instagram post on September 29, 2024. They married privately in Hawaii last year and now, they are going to be parents soon.
However, before Mariano, Ventimiglia didn’t have such a smooth romantic ride. Although very little is known about his personal life, he still had very few popular flings that came to the limelight. For instance, he dated the Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere.
Despite their 12-year age gap, both dated in 2007, only to bid adieu to each other after two years. Following the separation, Ventimiglia vowed to never date his co-stars again. In an interview with Mr. Porter (via Pop Sugar):
There are things that happen to you in your life that shape who you are. Everything I’ve been through from jobs to friendships to partnerships, everything has built me to who I am.
He further added that it was not until his mid-20s that the job and relationships began taking a toll on him. This led to his decision to never date any co-star again.
Hayden Panettiere Is Not the Only Co-star Milo Ventimiglia Has Dated
Panettiere isn’t the only co-star that Ventimiglia has dated. The actor fell in love with his Gilmore Girls co-star, Alexis Bledel. The couple turned their reel romance into a real romance and stayed in a relationship for four years before breaking up in 2006. No one knows why they decided against each other but fortunately, they stayed on good terms afterwards.
Further, right after his break up with Panettiere, Ventimiglia was spotted getting close with Jordana Brewster’s younger sister, Isabella Brewster. However, the actor didn’t get a commitment there as Brewster started dating Russell Brand soon after.
Ventimiglia also sparked rumors of romance with marketing coordinator, Kelly Egarian. He started dating her in 2016 when they both were spotted while having a lunch date in Venice Beach. Unfortunately, they were last seen as a couple in September 2017 at the Emmys.
