Ben Affleck Breaks Silence on Alleged ‘Four-a-Week’ Intimacy Rule With Jennifer Lopez: “It would be nice if you could have The Rules”
Bennifer fever is just not over yet it seems. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are both amazingly talented individuals, who found love in one another again in 2021. Fans were absolutely overjoyed to see the couple get back together and this time in matrimony. The two got hitched in 2022, leaving behind the past of a broken from the early 2000s.
This wedding was 20 years in the making. Therefore, it was the most awaited wedding of the decade, making everyone curious about every aspect of this marriage. So naturally, when the Bennifer stans got to know there were some agreements Jennifer Lopez made her now husband Ben Affleck agree to before the wedding took place, fans went wild. Jennifer Lopez hasn’t had much luck when it comes to her romantic life. The singer and actress has had her heart broken many times, and thus, to shield herself from further damage she has established some rules. These rules are only meant to be followed by the guys she decides to date, and since the lady is now married to Ben Affleck, turns out he too has to follow these rules in order to stay married to the diva.
This alleged agreement was the perfect tabloid fodder, as it was not of a usual sort. The actress demanded her husband has to have s*x four times a week as per the alleged clause. Many found this to be absolutely ridiculous while some found it hilarious. Ben Affleck cleared the air when he got a chance at Vanity Fair. The actor stated,
“You can’t legislate behavior. You’ve got to believe in the person and believe you can meet the challenges you face,–Neither of us are stupid or naïve. It would be nice if you could have ‘The Rules,’ but you just can’t write it down.”
This new and improved version of the Bennifer seems ready for all the challenges they face and is not breaking up easily this time around. They have pledged to take care of the relationship and will protect it from any probable harm whatsoever.

Turns out, that wasn’t the only rule Affleck has to follow. There are many more, some of which include staying in shape. An insider claimed,
“When they first started dating, Ben was up at 5 a.m., hitting the gym with J.Lo,–He was a lot more conscious about looking like a guy who was worthy of dating Hollywood’s biggest glamour gal. She expects him to pick up the slack and wants him working out every day and eating right, no excuses,”
Fans believe the next rule will especially be proven beneficial for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, given his past record with alcohol. The next clause states he cannot have more than three drinks in a day. The actress herself is strictly against drinking as she once said,
“I don’t drink or smoke or have caffeine. That really wrecks your skin as you get older.”
Other than that, the couple likes to follow a set of rules in order to have a healthy marriage. Life & Style reported,
“Ben and J.Lo made these rules to keep themselves accountable and to remind them that their relationship always comes first. That’s something that didn’t always happen in the past,–They’re also really going to make an effort to stagger projects. It’ll be hard because Ben and J.Lo are both so busy, but worth it in the end,”
The first rule being they cannot be separated for more than five days. and must spend quality time together. The two also FaceTime each other constantly when separated. Secondly, they must have child-free holidays to connect with each other better. And thirdly, they swore to stay away from media this time around, as that was one of the main reasons the couple broke up years back. The pair is now older and wiser and has learned from their mistakes and vowed to make it work the second time around.
