Ben Affleck’s Daddy Skills “Brings Tears” To Jennifer Lopez’s Eyes: “That’s who he is”
Hollywood’s beloved couple, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have mostly been in the headlines for their troubled relationship. The couple’s reunion in 2021 created a buzz, and eventually, the pair got married in 2022. The pair don’t share any kids yet; however, JLo shares twins with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck is the father of three kids, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
JLo and Affleck will soon be celebrating their first marriage anniversary. Recently, the Shotgun Wedding actress shared the dynamics of parenting with Affleck. Lopez shared that Affleck is a fabulous dad to her children from her former husband.
Jennifer Lopez says Ben Affleck is an amazing stepdad
Jennifer Lopez is highly impressed with Ben Affleck‘s skills in managing her twins. JLo shares two kids with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, whom she is currently co-parenting with Affleck. Affleck’s efforts in their relationship are indeed praiseworthy, as he has completely involved himself in raising JLo’s children. Lopez appreciated Affleck’s contribution to raising her kids; she said,
“He’s fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what being a stepfather is and what that means, and they love him.”
Lopez continued by saying that Affleck’s efforts are noticed by her children, and they appreciate him too. The Selena actress also revealed that Affleck sometimes teaches her parenting techniques to interact with and understand their kids. Looking at Affleck’s efforts, JLo became overwhelmed and said,
“It brings tears to my eyes, he is honestly the best dad I have ever seen. He’s such a brilliant guy anyway, and you can tell that when he had his kids, he must have read every book and everything that you could possibly learn about children, and he applies it. He’s present, and that’s all you can ask, for a present, loving dad who shows up every single day, and that’s who he is.”
Ben Affleck, on the other hand, shares three children with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The former couple separated in 2015, ending their 10 years of marriage. Along with raising JLo’s kids, Affleck is also co-parenting his children with his ex-wife.

Jennifer Lopez talks about the growing stages of children
Being a mom, JLo enjoys seeing her children grow. Meanwhile, dealing with their changing personalities is also a challenge for her. During a conversation with TODAY’s Hoda Kotb, Lopez shared,
“They’re becoming adults. They are challenging everything in life, they’re looking at everything. And these kids have so much information, so much more than we had. So they’re thinking and talking about things and about life in a different way than I did when I was 15 or 16 years old.”
Further, the actress revealed that since her children are in their adolescent phase, they prefer observing more and speaking less. Although she understands the necessity of providing her children with their own personal space, she feels disheartened when her children don’t share things with her.
