Jennifer Lopez Wants to Be a “Bold Actress” Who Doesn’t Do S*x Scenes as They’re “A Bit Exploiting”
Jennifer Lopez is a great singer and actress both. The multi-hyphenated actress is a perfectionist when it comes to working on a particular project. The Live it up singer has often done steamy scenes with her co-stars for her movies but the actress has explained that she is not comfortable doing love scenes.
The actress discussed her viewpoint on intimate scenes while discussing how she felt about filming intimate scenes with her co-stars.

In an interview, Jennifer Lopez expressed her discomfort when it comes to doing intimate screens on camera. Although the actress has done some bold and intimate scenes on-screen she has never been comfortable doing it. While talking about how she likes the idea of being a bold actress, the Marry Me actress said,
“In the beginning, I did some and I was really lucky because they would cut my scenes out so there is only one out there or something like that.”
She further added,
“I’m not comfortable with it, I’ll be honest with you – not at this point in my career. I love the idea of being a bold actress and I am quite fearless when I work but there is just something about it that just feels not quite right to me a bit exploiting.”
Lopez has always been averse to intimate scenes on-screen. But the actress never shied away from doing them. There are many movies where JLO has done erotic steamy scenes with her co-stars as she signed up for them.
Jennifer Lopez didn’t want her ex-husband Marc Anthony to see her getting intimate with her co-star
Lopez has a history of being very hesitant to perform love scenes. She once banned her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, who was her husband at the time, from being present on set so that he wouldn’t witness her having an intimate moment with a co-star.
Anthony was not allowed on the sets of The Back-up Plan. There were many steamy scenes between Lopez and Alex O’Loughlin. While talking about why she didn’t want her husband to be on the set, Lopez said,
“I didn’t want to torture the poor guy. He shouldn’t be watching when I’m seducing another man on a kitchen table. I don’t like doing love scenes at all, because they make me feel uncomfortable.”
The Shotgun Wedding actress has always been very vocal about how uncomfortable she was while doing the intimate scenes. She has talked about this to many of her movie directors but as it was the demand of the script, JLO had to do it for the film.
Lopez also said how sometimes she thought there were certain limits. The actress said, “There were times I hit the wall early on and you go, ‘OK I can’t do that.” The On The Floor explained she takes time to prepare for such intimate scenes
