During an interview with Hollywood.com in 2001, Ben Stiller spoke about Owen Wilson who played the rival character in the movie Zoolander. He said-

“Owen was the most important casting to me because I think he is one of the funniest people around — and the part was written for him … He’s a friend of mine and we’ve worked together a number of times.”

Prominent names from the entertainment industry have shown support to the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike. Actors Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler made headlines around the world as they were spotted holding placards with the SAG-AFTRA on-strike picket line.

According to an insider, the protests would be organized at-

 “Outside the studios and networks in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Comic-Con International: San Diego.”

The SAG-AFTRA strike began in mid-July and showed support for the ongoing WGA protests. Now the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes together have plagued Hollywood. The negotiation between the unions and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers is still going on. Many projects have been delayed and recently during the London premiere of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, the entire cast left the event abruptly to join the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
