The tweet shared a poster for the song Big Foot, possibly alluding to the traumatic event of Megan’s life when she was shot by Tory Lanez, who was convicted later on. Nicki Minaj also took to X to reveal that she has five more songs in her arsenal to deploy if Megan Thee Stallion dares clap back. Although many fans are close to tired of this never-ending online feud, it is safe to say everyone is looking forward to seeing what fiery lyrics Nicki Minaj has in store for Stallion.

Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion’s Feud Explained

It all started when Megan Thee Stallion dropped her latest track, HISS, which featured a line that particularly irked Nicki Minaj. The line in question said,

“These ho*s don’t be mad at Megan, these ho*s mad at Megan’s law.”

Megan’s Law is a US federal law that requires law enforcement to alert a community when a registered s*x offender moves into their neighborhood. It also requires information about the said s*x offender to be made public. Many listeners were quick to connect the dots and speculate that the line was a dig at Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who pleaded guilty to attempted rape of a 16-year-old in 1994.

In 2020, he was arrested for failing to register as a s*x offender, and a year later, Petty’s victim, Jennifer Hough, sued Minaj and Petty for harassment, claiming that the couple tried to coerce her to take back the accusations.

Minaj did not take kindly to this and went on to share a preview on her Instagram Live (via. Pop Base) that seemed to be a sneak peek at a Megan Thee Stallion diss track. It said,

“Bad b*tch she like 6 foot, I call her big foot, the b*tch fell off,  I said get up on your good foot”

This was quite a low blow as it strongly references the Tory Lanez incident, where Stallion was shot in the foot and Lanez was later convicted after she testified. At the time, Megan Thee Stallion said that the harassment made her feel like, “I wish he would have just shot and killed me if I knew I would have to go through this torture.” To add more insult, Minaj shared a picture of her feet on X

According to Pop Base, Minaj also accused Megan Thee Stallion of being racist towards a particular singer she collaborates with, away from the prying eyes of the media and fans. In her statement, she said,

“The nickname you got for your homegirl that rap. Tell everybody the nickname you got for her. A racist nickname for a person you do songs with… Don’t you call her ‘that dirty Mexican?’”

Many are speculating that this comment was about Cardi B, as her ethnicity has always been confused with Mexican heritage, whereas she belongs to West Indian and Dominican heritage.

Nicki Minaj’s Big Foot will drop on January 28 at 3 p.m. PST.
