Now the presenter has been caught in a new drama concerning the Kardashian/Jenner sibling. Audio leaked by an unauthorized source has put the 51-year host in trouble for cracking a joke on the reality star’s Halloween costume.
Billy Bush once again makes a controversially crude remark
The Extra host has been caught in another controversial comment made against Kendall Jenner. Billy Bush in audio obtained by The Daily Beast, is heard joking about Jenner’s Toy Story-inspired Halloween costume. During the 31 October recording, the presenter cracks a joke about Woody, the main character in Pixar, referring to the reality star.
He says, “Kendall goes as Jessie and, believe me, there were a lot of woodies.” This comment came while the host was standing in front of a glass screen displaying celebrities dressed provocatively for Halloween, and the center picture was of the model.
After viewing her image the host took the help of his crew for the character’s reference. He got the reply from a person naming the character Jessie. To this Bush make his crude s**ual remark to the character’s love affair, Woody, the main character of Toy Story.
The broadcaster also commented during the segment, “It’s going to be hard to see ‘Toy Story’ the same way ever again. Kendall saddled up as the redheaded cowgirl Jessie, complete with a crop top, chaps and denim shorts.”
These comments about The Kardashians Star didn’t make the final cut of the show but were rather leaked by a source to the media. The host’s off-camera comments have again put him in trouble.
Extra Stands by Billy Bush after his leaked comment about Kendall Jenner
The producers backed their host after his off-camera comment leaked in the media. Telepictures, which produces the show, said in defense of the anchor,
“As with many forms of production in the entertainment industry, the show’s creative process allows the flexibility to try different jokes and banter. In the end, some material lands on the cutting room floor, including remarks that may be too edgy to air on broadcast television.”
They also said that Bush was working through the show’s normal creative process, and there was no cruelty on his part.
Both the host and the model’s representative denied the request for a comment from the media. But there was a certain reaction from fans who took to Twitter to post their thoughts. Fans wrote their thoughts about the incident. One wrote, “Is anyone surprised that Billy Bush is actually as toxic and gross as he proved himself to be a long time ago?” While one argued to fire Bush from television. The 51-year anchor hasn’t learned the lesson from his past incident involving the former president of the USA. Even Bush has not replied to the news putting him in limelight.
