“Blake Lively to me is a B list actress”: Taylor Swift Still Faces Accusation of Villainous Role in Justin Baldoni Lawsuit From Candace Owens

The controversy about It Ends With Us seems never-ending ever since Blake Lively filed a complaint against Justin Baldoni accusing him of s*xual misconduct and a smear campaign. The director and actor of It Ends With Us didn’t stay behind, as he fired back at the actress and sued her and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million. Taylor Swift’s name has also been dragged into this. Recently, Baldoni’s leaked voicemail assuring Lively of aligning his script to her revisions has been added to that lawsuit.

Based on the revelations, Lively tried to persuade Baldoni with the help of Reynolds and Swift. In a recent podcast video, Candace Owens, the outspoken commentator, shared her point of view on the case. She slammed the Gossip Girl actress and accused the pop star of having an involvement in the whole controversy.

How was Taylor Swift involved in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s chaos?

According to reports gained from DailyMail, Baldoni sent the voicemail to Blake Lively after having a conversation regarding the changes in his script. Reportedly, after making changes in the rooftop scene from the movie, Lively called Baldoni to her penthouse, where Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift were also present, and allegedly tried to manipulate the actor/director of It Ends With Us.

Persuaded enough, Justin Baldoni sent his fellow co-star a text that read, “I really love what you did. It really does help a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan or Taylor).” In the lawsuit, Baldoni’s attorneys argued that he felt obliged to respond because he was pressurized by not only Lively but also her husband Reynolds, and BFF, Taylor Swift. As per his suit, the Gossip Girl actress said in an alleged message referring to her pillars of strength,

If you ever get around to watching ‘Game of Thrones,’ you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons. For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.

Following the leaked voicemail, Candace Owens took to her podcast and openly dissed Lively for using her Hollywood connections to stomp on Baldoni and manipulate him.

Candace Owens slammed Taylor Swift and called Blake Lively a ‘B list actress’

Candace Owens is a commentator popularly known for her unabashed opinions. She recently used her podcast platform to stand beside Justin Baldoni and slam Lively and her gang. In her video clip, Owens called out the Age of Adaline actress for a manipulation game and even showed a detailed timeline of her and Taylor Swift’s connection that might affect the whole controversial scenario.

After breaking up with Joe Alwyn, Swift arrived in NYC on April 10, 2023, and stayed for weeks. She was spotted with Lively and Reynolds. Around this date, the actress reportedly submitted a rewritten version of the script and invited Baldoni to their house. Owens then deduced from all the circumstantial evidence that Lively couldn’t persuade the New York Times to write such a hit piece. Not even Reynolds. She needed some superior force and that was her connection to Swift. Owens commented:

The New York Times is very powerful. For them to take such severe risk working on a hit piece about Justin Baldoni – why would they do that? It is a risk that I do not think would have been afforded by B list actors. Blake Lively to me is a B list actor, Ryan Reynolds is a well-known but he is not on the stratosphere of Taylor Swift or the Kardashians. Those are the people who can pick up the phone and get some articles written.

Owens further claimed that they needed some external power to drop Baldoni and probably Swift connected them to the media portal. She then pointed at the end credits mentioning Gordon Reynolds (Nicepool from Deadpool & Wolverine) in It Ends With Us hinting at Swift’s style of dropping easter eggs.

In the clip, Candace Owens even mentioned that Baldoni was terrified of Swift and continued, “You don’t wanna go up against Taylor Swift when you’re a guy. Because she can ruin you, she can literally ruin you. She has these fans who hang on every single word that she sings. Blake knows that, Ryan knows that, and now Justin Baldoni is just basically saying ‘I fold’.“
