However, they called it quits in 2005 for some vague reason. There seems to be no animosity between the couple, as they share a strong friendship even 15 years later.
However, Brad Pitt may have once hinted at a boring married life with Aniston that did not sit right with the fans. According to him, the spark was gone and he was not living an interesting life.

“It’s time. It’s time. You know, I think you can work with a baby, I think you can work pregnant, I think you can do it all.”
However, the couple soon filed for divorce in 2005 and Brad Pitt moved on with Angelina Jolie, whereas Jennifer Aniston found love again with actor Justin Theroux. Jennifer Aniston has always sung praises of Brad Pitt whenever she spoke of him in the media. In an interview with Vanity Fair, she said how she does not regret her time with Brad Pitt even a bit:
“I really do hope that someday we can be friends again. I will love [Brad] for the rest of my life. He’s a fantastic man. I don’t regret any of it, and I’m not going to beat myself up about it.”
However, the same cannot be said about Brad Pitt. Although he maintained a cordial relationship with his ex, there was one time he potentially described his marriage as dull and “boring.” In a 2011 interview with Parade, the actor said he “wasn’t living an interesting life” with Anniston. He later clarified his comment by saying,
“The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was dull to myself—and that I am responsible for.”

In fact, to this day, she seems grateful for the friendship they share. During an interview with Allure magazine (via People), she decided to set the records straight as she felt like she had “nothing to hide anymore.”
“It was a challenging road for me, the baby-making road. All the years and years and years of speculation…It was really hard. It was absolute lies. The narrative that I was just selfish… I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child. And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid.”
Jennifer Aniston concluded the interview by saying she has zero regrets and is kind of relieved that she does not have to think about a baby constantly.
