After staying together for almost four years, Brie Larson has finally broken up with her longtime boyfriend Elijah Allan-Blitz. In an interview this year, The Marvels star confirmed that she and her ex-boyfriend have separated, and Larson seems to be ready for what the future holds for her.
Brie Larson Broke Up With Elijah Allan-Blitz After Almost Four Years
While speaking with Harper’s Bazaar for its April issue, Brie Larson revealed her split from long-cherished boyfriend Elijah Allan-Blitz, now The Marvels star’s ex-boyfriend. Larson openly shared that she’s ready for whatever the future brings to her, as currently, she seems to be without a plan.
“I don’t have a next job. I don’t have a home. I don’t have a partner. I don’t have a plan. I’m just completely open.” Larson shed light on her breakup from the director with whom she endured an incredible bond. The Oscar winner once even shared on her Instagram a picture with Blitz and captioned it: “Get yourself a guy who will fly across the globe to hold your hand while you live your dream. I cherish you @elijah_a.b”
After the actress split from musician Alex Greenwald, Larson, and Blitz were spotted making out in Calabasas, California in 2019, initiating their love relationship. The couple made a stunning public appearance at the 2020 Oscars. The 21 Jump Street star kept sharing glimpses of her love life with the director through her Instagram. In the Harper’s Bazaar interview, Larson stated:
“I had all the same normal fears as everybody else about being single and being 30. What do I want? How does a family and a future fit in with my weird life?” She talked about the roles she desired to take on in films, at the same time facing numerous life choices and the feeling of being single in her 30s.

Though now Brie Larson is finally a single woman and ready to take on a fresh new ride with whatever comes to her next, there was a time when she and her ex appeared together in an interview to promote their short film Remembering, a movie that depicts how small distractions can lead up to big losses.

The Just Mercy actress and her now ex-boyfriend sat together for an interview with various outlets. While praising Elijah Allan-Blitz and talking about their film, Larson, according to Collider, the actress said:
“Elijah and I had been talking, it was the pandemic, and we were needing to be creative. We had been watching movies from our childhood and digging into all of these things. One day, Elijah went into the office, and I feel like it was within 20 minutes, but maybe it was an hour, he had this whole concept.”
Shedding light on the collaborative effort that the twosome put in making Remembering and felt the need to be creative together. However, Brie Larson did not mention the details of her break up with the director in the Harper’s Bazaar interview, she did mention that her life began to change in her 30s.
