However, Brigitte Nielsen revealed that she doesn’t even remember being married to the Rocky star as it was a huge mistake to tie the knot with Sylvester Stallone. The Red Sonja star mentioned moving on from the acclaimed actor and he never occupied her thoughts amid her busy and content life.

In the world of entertainment, lies the $400 million rich hero Sylvester Stallone who still makes his fans curious about his whereabouts, and personal and professional life. However, what’s noteworthy is that his ex-wife and actress Brigitte Nielsen doesn’t even want to think about Stallone’s existence after the former couple parted ways in 1987.
The Rocky star married Brigitte in 1985 and soon after nineteen months, they parted ways. The Galaxis actress revealed that she has completely moved on from her brief marriage with Sylvester Stallone and barely wants to know what he ex-husband is up to. Nielsen told People that:
“No idea what that guy is up to. You move on, you know? You’re so busy doing other things that it can be like, ‘Wait, what was his name again? …I never think about him. Sometimes it feels like it never even happened.”
The Creed II star’s thoughts are quite evident as she focuses on other aspects of her life that are most important to her. After four failed marriages, Nielsen married an Italian producer Mattia Dessi in 2006, and since then the couple has endured their relationship and welcomed a daughter Frida in 2018.

While opening up about her tumultuous and brief marriage with Sylvester Stallone, Brigitte Nielsen expressed regret. While talking on Oprah: Where Are They Now? (Via Huffpost) The Cave of The Golden Rose 2 actress reflected on the time when she tied the knot with the Expendables star and said:
“The biggest misconception while I was with Sylvester was the fact that everybody thought I married him because of money. They didn’t understand that he begged me to marry. He begged me!”
While remembering that the time was too early to marry an acclaimed star like Sylvester Stallone who rose to stardom, Nielsen added:
“If I would go back in time, I shouldn’t have married him. And he shouldn’t have married me! I don’t want to sit here and come across as an angel. I probably was also a pain in the butt at times… But it really just wasn’t for me, and it became very ugly, like some divorces do.”
Stallone’s ex-wife mentioned suffering after divorcing him as she faced ignorance in her acting career. However, the former couple continues to keep up the professional relationship with respect for each other as artists.
