A no-holds-barred book that will reveal the true nature of her controversial conservatorship. The pop sensation had signed a shocking $15 million deal with Simon & Schuster back in February. This is the second most expensive tell-all in history. Coming only second to former US President, Barack Obama’s A Promised Land, who reportedly made more than $60 million through his presidential memoirs.
While fans are eagerly waiting for the Princess of Pop to pour her heart out in the book, the manuscript of her Tell-All memoir is now complete but its release has been delayed due to a very unusual reason.
The Content of the Book and Conservatorship
Since 2008, the Oops I Did It Again singer has been in a controversial conservatorship with her father. Some events after her old marriage fell apart in 2008 led her into this conservatorship. Many aspects of her professional and personal life were controlled by her father under a legal guardianship form called a conservatorship. In 2021, Jamie Spears stepped down as his daughter’s conservator due to medical reasons. A new conservator was appointed by the singer and her lawyers.

Under the conservatorship, her father had control over various aspects of the singer’s life. For instance, he decided if she could visit her teen sons or if she could get remarried, or if she could get rid of her birth control and stuff. The singer has confessed that she had to go on tours she didn’t want and had to take meds she didn’t need, by her family. Reports have it that Jamie Spears had her daughter’s phone and bedroom bugged as well.
The Reason for Delay in Britney Spears’ Book
The reason that the Toxic singer’s book has been delayed is that there has been a shortage of paper in the industry. There is no firm date when the shortage will be resolved. So, there is no new release date for the book as of yet. The singer’s book was ready to hit the market in January initially but now there are no new updates. Paper shortages have been troubling the US for months now, due to pandemic-related supply chain problems.

Britney Spears got engaged to Sam Asghari in September 2021. The couple married on the 9th of June, 2022. They got married at their secluded Thousand Oaks home in Los Angeles.
