Britney Spears’ Ex-husband, Who Was Married to Her for 55 Hours, Gets Arrested Again after Crashing Pop Star’s Wedding Last Year
Famous singer and actress, Britney Spears is now in the public spotlight after the news of her ex-husband’s arrest went viral.
This may sound quite typical with Hollywood superstars, but Britney Spears seems to have taken things to the next level after spending 55 hours in marriage and then splitting with her ex-husband Jason Alexander.
Usually post divorce both stars separate their ways but it looks like Spears is facing trouble with her ex-husband even after the divorce.
Jason Alexander’s Arrests Thrust Britney Spears into the Public Spotlight
It’s not recently when the ex-couple, Britney Spears married her childhood best friend, Jason Alexander, well got married and got divorced. The event happened way back in 2004.
It’s not the first time Alexander has been making his way to top headlines because of the Crossroads star, but he has previously appeared for similar allegations which have ended up in court too.
Fast forward to 2023, now again the 41-year-old star has been held by the police in Tennessee on the charges of “stalking”
As of now, there is no update on if he has bailed out of prison or if any court date has been issued. Also, it’s unclear who has accused Alexander of stalking charges, but by looking at the past events everyone’s eyes have been gone to Britney Spears.
After the last incident of him getting booked which ended up in imprisonment, he stayed clean and later also got married to a woman named, Rebecca Bell.
As there is no confirmation either from Alexander or his wife or even Spears, it won’t be fair to point out to Spears.

Britney Spears’ Post-marriage Complication with Jason Alexander
Spears faced a lot of issues including her 55-hour ex-husband crashing at her California home as she was planning to marry Sam Asghari, the star behind movies like Can You Keep a Secret? and Unbelievable!!!!
His crashing into Spear’s house resulted in him taking things to the police which ends to arrest. He was booked for three misdemeanors and later was bailed out.
Things didn’t end here as Spears got granted a three-year restraining order against Alexander. However, in August 2022 the court ordered Alexander to be guilty on charges of “aggravated trespassing and battery” and was ordered to serve 128 days in prison.
In addition, the court also ordered a No Contact Protective Order against Alexander after which there were no such allegations reported against Alexander until now.
What Happened in Britney Spears and Jason Alexander’s 55-Hours Marriage?
Even though the Spears and Alexander have been together for 55 hours which is just around 3 days as a married couple, the star shared that they have been together as best friends since their childhood.
Talking about their marriage, it all started on New Year’s Eve in 2004 when Spears invited her best friend to Las Vegas.
“It wasn’t a booty call,” he said. “It was just, you know, a friend asking a friend to come on a trip.”
During an interview by ABC with Alexander, the star shared that it was only like going on a trip, and marriage was never expected to happen. However, the star shared that it was Spears who first initiated the conversation about marriage, Alexander said:
“She just came out and asked me,” Alexander said. “She was like, ‘Well, let’s get married.’ And I was like, ‘Sure. You know, let’s do this.'”
Alexander also shared that he already had a lot of feelings for his childhood best friend that’s why he immediately accepted to get married,
“I went with my feelings,” he said. “I was in love with her. … I feel like she felt the same way.”
However, the marriage got canceled after 55 hours and years after he started blaming Spears’ family when he shared that he was forced to sign a contract and was given false hope by the star’s family.
