Britney Spears’ Former Husband Jason Alexander Officially Pleads ‘Not Guilty’ Despite Being Caught Red-handed Gatecrashing Her Wedding
After attempting to disrupt the singer’s wedding to Sam Asghari at her home last month, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander formally entered a not-guilty plea. Jason Alexander was arraigned on the criminal charge on Tuesday in Ventura County Superior Court through Zoom, according to Page Six. On all counts, Jason Alexander has entered a not guilty plea.

After attempting to interrupt the pop star’s wedding last month, Jason Alexander formally entered a not guilty plea. Jason Alexander, 41, was arraigned on the criminal charge in Ventura County Superior Court, where he appeared from jail through Zoom, according to Page Six. Erin Meister is a senior deputy district attorney for Ventura County. He entered a not-guilty plea to all charges, including three misdemeanor counts of aggravated trespassing, refusing to leave private property, vandalism, and battery as well as one felony count of stalking with a past domestic violence conviction.
Jason Alexander was her childhood pal. He was married to the singer for two days in 2004. According to Page Six, he also faces a special enhancement charge because, at the time of his alleged offenses in California, he was on probation for an unrelated case out of Tennessee. He refuted the special charge accusation at his arraignment on Tuesday. A pretrial meeting for Jason Alexander will be held on August 2nd.

According to Page Six, he continues to be detained in lieu of a $100,000 bail and may spend up to five years in prison if found guilty. According to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, Britney Spear’s ex-husband was detained by deputies responding to a trespassing incident, and he was arrested after they learned he had an outstanding warrant from another county.
Jason Alexander would have to stay in jail after upholding the charges. Shortly after the incident, Britney Spears, 40, fired her security staff and received a restraining order against her ex. Kevin Federline and Britney Spears were previously wed from 2004 until 2007. They have two boys, now aged 14 and 15.
