Despite their relationship being private under mutual agreement, Taylor Swift profoundly confessed her love for her former beau.
Putting her heart on her sleeves, the songstress gushed over Alwyn in front of the media. And now after their breakup, it seems fit, how the Bad Blood singer hinted at her break-up long back while discussing her relationship. Coming out to the public with her 2020 Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, Swift spoke purposefully of her relationship. “I was falling in love with someone who had a wonderfully normal, balanced life” Swift called out the differences she faced in her relationship.
“We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private,” she added. Further, she revealed, “I was happy. But I wasn’t happy in the way I was trained to be happy.” Throwing out a major hint to the public about her detrimental relationship, the songstress further mentioned, “It was happiness without anyone else’s input. We were just happy.”

Amicably ending things with Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift was spotted alone during her 2023 tours. Alwyn, who often accompanied the 33-year-old during her concerts, was absent from her Eras tour. Therefore, his absence made fans believe something was wrong with them. Soon, being flummoxed with the news of their breakup, the fans started decoding Swift’s hints.
Taking to TikTok, netizens claimed how the singer replaced Invisible String (written for Alwyn) with The 1, during her Eras tour in Texas. Captioning the TikTok video, a fan claimed, “Realizing why Taylor switched out invisible string for the 1,”. Learning the hint, several fans commented on the video, “This was not the Easter egg I was hoping for this weekend”.
Calling out the hint, after one TikToker pointed it out, fans wrote, “Realizing the breakup might be why Taylor switched the setlist from invisible string to the 1”. Even Twitteratis began finding Easter eggs when one pointed out the match striking move in the Lavender Haze music video.
