Can Marvel Bring Venom Hulk To The MCU?
When Venom integrates with the Hulk, the combination becomes far more threatening. Can Marvel bring this potential character to the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Marvel’s symbiotes are perhaps the parasitic form of aliens that bond with others around the galaxy, generally with a strong host so that they can grow more significantly. The most intriguing one amongst these is Venom. The character first bonded with Spider-Man during the events of Secret Wars. Ever since then, Venom has bonded with multiple characters and most recently with Eddie Brock.
The Venom Symbiote And Bruce Banner
Apparently, some of the symbiote variants have found themselves being attached with Bruce Banner, aka the Hulk. And as far as the recent Marvel events are concerned, this could become a reality in the MCU as well.
The Venom Symbiote is eligible to possess other characters and adapt the knowledge and skills of the past ones to their current ones. This is what makes the incarnation even more dangerous, especially after it became prominent enough to duplicate the figure and strengths like Spider-Man. The only weakness that the creature has is associated with fire and sonic waves that affects Venom negatively. On the other hand, the Hulk is a rage-induced Bruce Banner’s transformation that increases his endurance and strength more comprehensively. He is one of the strongest characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and capable enough to fight characters such as Thanos and Thor. That is why the combination of Venom-Hulk becomes incredibly powerful.
Venom Is Now In The MCU?
In the comic world, the Venom symbiote has briefly encountered two Hulks; one on Earth-616 and the other one on Earth-1089. However, in their recent movie incarnations, it looked very unlikely that Hulk and Venom would ever encounter each other. While the Hulk, or say Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) is a resident of the MCU timeline, Venom has been removed from the MCU. But apparently, the post-credits scene of Venom: Let There Be Carnage depicted the fact that now Eddie Brock is somehow in the MCU timeline as well. The scene showed that Venom sees Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on TV as his identity gets exposed.
This is a major shift for the Venom Symbiote as it opened the door for him to encounter plenty of character now. This might include some potential characters like the Hulk himself.
