“Can’t wait to hear how he’s a victim because he’s colored”: Jonathan Majors Gets Destroyed for Upcoming Interview Since Guilty Verdict
Jonathan Majors made countless headlines last year, and the majority of those were due to the legal issues he got into. What could have been an excellent year for his career quickly turned into the worst nightmare for the actor as his rise to stardom came to a screeching halt in the first quarter of 2023 itself when he got arrested on March 25, 2023, on assault, strangulation and harassment charges from his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.
Although Jonathan Majors was released from custody on the same day and his spokesperson denied the allegations in hopes of getting his name cleared, things have only gotten worse for the actor. In December 2023, the verdict on the weeks-long violence trial was passed, and he was proved to be guilty. His sentence does not come until February 6. In the meantime, he is preparing for interviews, and netizens are not happy.
Netizens Are Speaking Out Against Jonathan Majors
Having made his on-screen debut in 2017, Jonathan Majors rose to prominence in 2019 with his role in the movie The Last Standing Man in San Francisco. His performance earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination. The biggest turning point in his career came when he took over the role of MCU’s Kang the Conquerer and the character’s other variations.
Majors debuted as the character in the 2021 Disney+ series Loki and went on to reprise the role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Loki Season 2. This intensified the spotlight on him when he got into legal trouble. The news that his first interviews post the guilty verdict are going to be out soon set the internet ablaze as netizens made their disapproval known. One of the netizens on X wrote: “Can’t wait to hear how he’s a victim because he’s colored.”
Didn’t know his place.

Why would you give this dude a platform after he was convicted? Holy shit

I think we can all agree he does not deserve this kind of platform after what he did.

Why does he get screen time? Cause he’s a poc or Hollywood? Or what’s up with that?

This is not the first time that netizens have called out the actor ever since he got under the legal radar and certainly won’t be the last.
