If we talk about a debut film for a comic book film starring a character, then Captain Marvel is only behind Black Panther, which opened at $200 million worldwide. Rotten Tomatoes deleted various audience reviews that were posted before the film released in theaters. This was a part of a campaign to prevent disgruntled users from review bombing films before their release.

Captain Marvel Has Got 58,000+ Reviews

Captain Marvel had more then 58,000 user reviews within merely hours of its worldwide release. This, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is “is more than the total of audience score reviews for Avengers: Infinity War for its entire theatrical run.”
