The 2017 spy action comedy film Kingsman: The Golden Circle starred actors Taron Egerton and Channing Tatum. It was directed and co-written by Matthew Vaugh and Jane Goldman. The Secret Service, subsequently known as Kingsman, was the name of the comic book series on which the film was based.

Despite the performances and humor in the film, it earned mixed reviews from the public and reviewers at the time of its release. After their organization is crippled and The Golden Circle holds the world hostage, members of Kingsman team up with its American counterpart, Statemen, according to the movie’s narrative. Actor Taron Egerton talked about working with the star of Magic Mike.

“Don’t fight Channing Tatum. Just don’t. That guy is strong as an Ox. I sort of thought, ‘Oh, I know that guy can dance. He’s going to be very gentle and, you know, not at all. I mean the amount of bruises I left that week with, but it makes a good fight scene I think.”

When he appeared in Build Series to promote the movie, he shared the same sentiment, urging everyone to never fight Tatum before adding that he is an amazing person and a great person to work with.

Channing Tatum and Taron Egerton’s X-rated prank wars on Kingsman: The Golden Circle sets

Filming a movie can sometimes get boring, but in a movie like Kingsman which is known for its X-rated humor, Channing Tatum and Taron Egerton found a way to not only have fun during filming but also get into a little X-rated zone of pranking each other.

The actor spoke to USA Today in 2017 when he shared,

“There was a day I managed to recruit (the costume guy) to go into Channing’s trailer and put a mannequin on his bed with a wig just above the lip of the duvet. Then he put a pair of high-heeled boots at the foot of the bed, an empty wine bottle and an ash tray with cigarette butts in it. Channing went into his trailer one morning and [believing an actual woman was unconscious in his bed] went, ‘I need to find security! I need to find security!’”

Egerton later noted that to take revenge on him, Tatum had actually put 25 s*x dolls in his trailer along with some d***os. He revealed that Tatum had spent about $1500 at a s*x shop so that he could fill up his trailer and take his revenge for the prank he pulled up.

The young actor added, “I couldn’t move. And he filmed himself in my trailer, just washing his hands in the sink.”

Taron Egerton says the MCU ship has sailed for him now

In an interview published by The Direct in March of this year, actor Taron Egerton was asked about his reaction to fans wanting to have him cast as Wolverine in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to which he said that it’s no longer possible even though it seems exciting.

He explained,

“Well, the one that I mentioned is up for grabs, but I’m too old for it now. I think that ship has probably sailed. Yeah, that whole Wolverine thing – I get asked about it and no matter what you say, it gets turned into what people want you to say about it. I’m not going to be the guy to play Wolverine. There are no signs pointing towards that being the thing. And I just don’t know if I’m maybe… I don’t know. Maybe I’m getting to the point where that’s not what I want any more. I don’t know.”

Taron Egerton, however, clarified that he is not counting on the role because he does love those movies and has really enjoyed watching them over the past 10-15 years, but maybe it’s not the right thing for him anymore. He lastly said that he feels that maybe he is past the point where that felt like the right thing for him to do for his career.
