Charlie Sheen has earned a reputation for being involved in several controversies that turned his life upside down. The star who at one point was one of the highest-paid actors, suddenly started hitting rock bottom when numerous scandals began to surface. While he was on bad terms with many of the influential celebrities in the Hollywood industry, his feud with Selma Blair is probably the worst.

In the famous sitcom Anger Management, Sheen was playing the lead role, meanwhile, Blair was helping his character as a therapist in the film. They were going to get involved in some advancement as the story continued, however, it all crumbled when the former pulled some strings to kick the latter out of the show.

Back in 2013, TMZ reported that Charlie Sheen was putting pressure on the Anger Management producers to fire the now 50-year-old actress, Selma Blair. He basically threatened the executives to remove her from the show, otherwise, he would quit. Even though fans were gushing over the duo’s dynamic relationship on-screen, their off-screen feud made things harder for everyone, with the actress being dropped from the show.

The reason behind her exit was majorly voicing out her opinions about Sheen’s work ethic. She raised her concern that the former was a “menace” to work with by questioning his punctuality on the show. For the unversed, the cast and crew of the famous sitcom apparently had to wait for the actor to show up for work so that could start working on set.

When he got to know about how the actress was complaining about him behind his back, he started putting pressure on the producers to kick her out of the show. A source told The Hollywood Reporter back then that the actor himself fired her from the show, and sent a derogatory word to her by calling her a “c-nt.”

As he himself was one of the executive producers of the show, it was not difficult for him to fire Blair from the sitcom.

Blair did not keep quiet after she was abruptly removed from the sitcom. Following her exit from the show, she threatened a lawsuit against the Two and a Half Men star and the show’s production company, Lionsgate Entertainment, for $1.2 million. It was the same amount she believed she would have made had she not been fired from the show.

In an interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Sheen told that her exit from the show was rather due to creative differences. He stated,

“Selma Blair … was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the ‘Two and a Half [Men]’ character and thought the ‘Anger Management’ character was a little dull.”

Even though she did plan to sue them for her losses, there was not much advancement seen over that. Both the party went quiet about the same, meanwhile, Blair never received a proper apology from Sheen.
