Not only did Chloe Grace-Moretz announce who she just voted for, but she also shared with the world that she identifies as a gay woman. This is the first time the actress has opened up about her sexuality with the world.
Moretz has been an actor for many years, taking on roles as a child actor, a teen, and now an adult. However, she has never previously shared what her romantic and s*xual orientation has been until now. There were always speculations around the topic, but now the actress’s confession puts a stop to it all.

Though the actress has made no formal announcements related to who she’s dating or in a relationship with, speculations have run amok as Moretz has been seen with Kate Harrison on quite a few occasions. Harrison is a 33-year-old model who was first seen with Moretz on a dinner date in Malibu.
Nevertheless, the two have been rumored to be together since 2018. The Carrie actress confirmed that she is indeed seeing someone when she said,
I like to keep my private life private. I’m in a long-term relationship. And I really enjoy that.
The couple has further fueled the rumors by wearing diamond rings together since April 2024, making people believe they are engaged. Moretz and Harrison also post about each other frequently and share glimpses into their lives on social media.

Moretz has always been supportive and rallied behind the causes that helped the LGBTQ community. In a conversation with BBC, she said,
I have two gay brothers. We were raised in small town in northwest Georgia [in a] very Christian baptist town. So when my brothers came out, it was fairly jarring to the community. We were very blessed to have my mother who was very progressive, but nonetheless, they dealt with a lot of self-hate when they came out.
This perhaps empowered her to accept her truth too and share that side with the world. Moretz’s recent confession of being a gay woman was met with positive responses as fans appreciated the actress for finally opening up and being truthful about her life.
