Where will Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey adaptation be filmed?

According to a Variety report, Christopher Nolan will partly film in Sicily which, as per the scholars, was the place of Odysseus’ wanderings based on Homer’s composition back in the 8th century BCE. Shooting in Sicily will probably begin in the next two months on the island of Favignana, known as “goat island”. This is the place where Homer envisioned Odysseus landing with his crew to barbeque goats and stock up on their food in his epic.
