While all Godzilla fans are waiting eagerly to see what the future holds for the King of Monsters, this fall will see the arrival of yet another beast in Paramount Pictures’ Clifford The Big Red Dog, with Clifford sharing his Halloween costume and paying homage to the King of Monsters. While we haven’t seen a crossover between Godzilla and Clifford yet, it’s evident that the two giants have entered each other’s worlds in different ways, both with fan-made creations and officially.

Clifford The Big Red Dog was earlier supposed to release in September this year but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic which pushed the film a year from its release date. With a live-action story that brings the canine to life using animation, the film is scheduled to release on November 10, with Paramount releasing it in both, theatres and also, streaming on Paramount Plus. Clifford first arrived in a Children’s book that has since gone on for countless years and it will be really interesting to see how the story translates to the big screen.

The picture of the crimson canine in a Halloween costume was shared by the official account for Clifford The Big Red Dog, paying homage to the King of Monsters that defeated King Kong in a fight earlier this year in their crossover film by Legendary Pictures.

If you haven’t heard about Clifford The Big Red Dog and its movie, here’s the official description:

“In Clifford The Big Red Dog, Emily (Big Little Lies’ Darby Camp) struggles to fit in both at home and at school, but that all changes when she meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little red puppy – a puppy that she never anticipated waking up to find turned into a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. David Alan Grier stars in the film and other cast members include Izaac Wang, Paul Rodriguez, Tony Hale, Russell Peters, Kenan Thompson, and Rosie Perez.”
