Back To The Future Chapter 3 Gives A Unique Shoutout To Clint Eastwood
According to the media outlet The Digital Flix, the 1990 release science fiction project Back To The Future 3, paid homage to the talented actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood. After the 80s part in DeLorean, The Bridges Of Madison County actor saw two of his earliest movies feature in the third part of the series.
In the particular scene where Marty, changes into cowboy clothes, Clint Eastwood’s film posters can be seen in the background. Eastwood’s posters of Tarantula and Revenge Of The Creature have both been spotted by eagle-eyed fans.
On considering the homage in Back To The Future chapter 3, it is quite evident that the movie gave a unique recognition to one of the most talented actors in the history of cinema. The 1990 released movie Back To The Future Part 3, went on to amass a whopping collection of $245.1 million against a budget of $40 million.
Clint Eastwood Was Doubtful About Lady Gaga’s Casting In A Star Is Born
Not many people know that Bradley Cooper led- A Star Is Born was supposed to be directed by Clint Eastwood. The musical drama marks the directorial debut of Bradley Cooper. Back in 2011, Eastwood was in talks with Beyonce for the character that was originally played by Lady Gaga. Due to Beyonce’s pregnancy, the project got delayed, however, the Born This Way singer was finally announced as the female lead in the musical drama.
During an interview with the media outlet Extra TV via NME, Clint Eastwood mentioned that Lady Gaga was not the initial choice for the character of Ally in A Star Is Born. He said-
“I thought he did a great job. A lot of things that I wasn’t sure about…like he wanted Lady Gaga…I wasn’t sure she was right for it, but I think she is stunning in it.”
Whereas, Bradley Cooper was totally sure about Lady Gaga for the female lead in his directorial project. During an interview with E! News in 2019, the Maestro star said-
“I knew it when I met her. Clearly I knew that she had one of the best voices of our time and then when I met her, I felt like she was so soulful and deep and open and warm and caring and I thought, ‘God, if I could just capture what I’m seeing right now talking to her, we’re going to be OK.”
