Tom Felton expresses his feelings regarding Daniel Radcliffe.
In a recent interview, actor Tom Felton said that Daniel Radcliffe, his co-star in the Harry Potter franchise, is like a “brother” to him in real life. He took the chance to think back on their real-life friendship and the details of their working relationship on set when Felton’s memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard, hit the bookstores. He continued by saying that he has nothing but the highest regard for his co-star and that he simply does not have the chance to see him as much as he would have liked to.
Tom Felton continued by noting Daniel Radcliffe’s extraordinary presence on set and the energy and excitement he brought to every setting. Felton added, “But it was important to me, looking back, how important his enthusiasm and his eventual professionalism runs down the ranks if you will.”
Felton further claimed that Radcliffe’s commitment and professionalism were very contagious, and that contributed to a pleasant and productive environment on set.“He could’ve very easily coasted a lot of those years.” Felton added that, while working with Radcliffe on-site, it felt like he was constantly willing to contribute as much as possible and was always collaborative.
