The beats of Nirvana’s Nevermind album will forever have Dave Grohl etched into itself for his breakthrough drumming. Acclaimed and highly lapped up by fans for his powerful display of skills with the drums during his tenure with the iconic band as well as in his current lap with Foo Fighters, the rock legend’s fame has, of late, become tarnished. A resurfacing of old allegations and admissions alongside his latest infidelity report, has left many stunned.

The musician recently acknowledged fathering a baby outside wedlock. As such, his marriage of more than two decades with Jordyn Blum lies hanging to fate. Yet, to complicate matters, several stories have surfaced in the mainstream, highlighting a history of him being reportedly unfaithful in earlier relations. However, one such allegation linking him directly to a major entertainment entity has grabbed eyeballs.

Dave Grohl may have opened a can of worms with his acceptance of infidelity in his marriage with Jordyn Blum. Not long after the news hit major outlets, the Foo Fighters drummer’s exes going vocal about their claimed similar fate also resurfaced. As reported by DailyMail, in 1997, his then-girlfriend, Louise Post, had alleged Grohl cheating on her with Hollywood actress Winona Ryder.

The Veruca Salt band’s vocalist-guitarist had claimed the Nirvana musician’s disloyal moment happened during one on-stage performance, leading them to go separate ways. However, the same outlet confirmed that Grohl never admitted to his reported connection with the Beetlejuice actress, and neither has the latter ever spoken of the same.

Yet, another stern rebuke, from another one of his past flames, Tina Basich, has also started receiving renewed attention. In her 2003 memoir, as reported by The Mirror, the snowboarder wrote that she came to know of an alleged affair “through the grapevine”.

I don’t know how anyone in his profession can have a normal relationship with a girlfriend…or two, as it turned out. I found out secondhand, through the grapevine, when it seemed like everyone else in the world knew about it but me.

The current situation that Dave Grohl has found himself in has invited the wrath of all of his previously reported unfaithfulness, given that his very first marriage to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood in 1994 also culminated after his admitted infidelity. (The Guardian)

Dave Grohl once called Jordyn Blum his “ex-wife” even before marriage

In a chilling recounting of events, Dave Grohl may have taken an unfortunate misstep of labeling Jordyn Blum his “ex-wife” even before they exchanged vows. In a 2007 GQ interview, the Foo Fighters drummer recounted his first meeting with the director at a whiskey bar.

In trying to woo her over, however, he made a rather uncanny statement which said that she could potentially be his “ex-wife”.

And by the end of the night I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife.’ So she gave me her number: ‘Jordyn, your future ex-wife.’

The unintended premonition, given the current slate of events, is scary at best. On the current side of events, Dave Grohl has assumed full responsibility for his newborn child while assuring his fans and the general media that he is working to repent and earn the forgiveness of his wife and three kids, in an Instagram post, the comments for which were turned off.
