Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has started focusing on his career after fighting a long defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. He recently had a brief appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards 2022, however, it looks like his ex would never leave him alone even if she would not be directly involved with him.
Amber Heard’s BFF Eve Barlow, a music journalist and a self-described Zionist, is involved in many controversies and has never missed a chance to criticize her friend’s former husband, Johnny Depp. She has even supported her while the trial was going on. She has recently called out the actor for his brief appearance at VMAs 2022.
Eve Barlow Mocks Johnny Depp for His Appearance at MTV VMAs 2022
The 59-year-old actor on Sunday made one of the major appearances at the MTV Video Music Awards by dressing up as the award show’s famous Moon person. He appeared in a pre-recorded segment for only a few moments at the show, hanging from the ceiling with a digital depiction of his face that appeared inside the helmet of the moon person’s mascot. His major role in the show was to help in a smooth transition between awards and music, however, he also cracked jokes in between.
While what seems to look like a big opportunity for Depp to appear on the screen again, Eve Barlow, a close friend of his ex-Amber Heard, grabbed this chance to mock the actor. During the show, the actor shared, “And you know what? I needed the work.”
Heard’s BFF posted a series of tweets related to Johnny Depp, one of which was reportedly for erectile dysfunction after his huge comeback at MTV VMA. She wrote, “I heard Johnny Depp performed for two seconds #DVMAs #toosoon?”

The Aquaman actress and Depp were involved in a defamation lawsuit over an op-ed piece the former wrote in The Washington Post stating herself as the victim of domestic violence that later on tarnished the latter’s reputation. He then filed a lawsuit demanding $50 million for the same through the former countersued him with $100 million. After weeks of trial, Depp won the verdict with the court awarding him $10 million for damages.
According to Twitter users, she is allegedly getting married to her Jewish BFF Barlow who would allegedly convert to Judaism. The rumors surfaced on the Internet when both the celebrities were spotted having dinner at a Tel Aviv eatery on a trip to Israel last month.
