We all must be aware of the Deep V. Heard controversies involving both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard where the Aquaman actress got embroiled in a defamation lawsuit after her divorce from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor.
The entire case trial between the two famous Hollywood stars was quite viral, and now as things have got settled, it looks like Netflix is planning to revive everything that has happened during the trial featuring both famous Hollywood stars with its new Deep V. Heard documentary.

Deep V. Heard will be giving you deep insights into the behind-the-scenes acts that happened while the cast trials were going on. Also, the documentary will be giving a glimpse of how both stars had to face comments and reactions from fans around the world during the trial.
There were many statements shared by Amber Heard as well as Johnny Depp during their trial, which was live-streamed and took the attention of fans, and made it go viral. Netflix captioned their new documentary as,
“Depp v Heard examines the infamous defamation case that captured the world’s attention as the first Trial by TikTok, and questions the nature of truth and the role it plays in our modern society.”
Here the streaming giant didn’t mention the star’s name specifically but in the trailer, it’s quite clear about whom the documentary is all about.
Fans React to Deep V. Heard Trailer Release
It’s been a few hours since the new documentary, Deep V. Heard‘s trailer made its way to Netflix’s official YouTube channel, and as soon as the trailer got released many fans reportedly riled up when it was revealed that “Depp wanted cameras in court so she couldn’t play the victim”
It looked like Depp didn’t trust Heard for the statements she was going to make during the proceedings. So, the Jeanne du Barry star wanted cameras in the court.
Fans recalled the events that happened during the case trials and shared a mixed reaction to the new documentary trailer.
While some fans looked to be neutral, there were some who looked really against Heard. Very few were seen to be on the side of Heard in the comment sections.
During the long-lasting case trial, there was always a question raising- who is saying the truth? Well, in this trailer we might see Netlfix’s way of showing just that.

However, the wedding life didn’t go well just like it was during their dating times. The very next year, The Danish Girl star filed for divorce against the Alice Through the Looking Glass actor, where the actress alleged him for physical abuse.
Deep V. Heard will be released officially on 18th of August.
