Did Kate Middleton Declare War on Meghan Markle? Royal Expert Claims Princess of Wales Carpet-Bombed Markle’s Chances at King Charles Coronation
The grand coronation of King Charles is less than a month away, and the event is overshadowed by numerous controversies already. Reports of a feud between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the one side, and Prince William and Kate Middleton on the other have been surfacing consistently.
Kate Middleton is reportedly upset about the prospect of Meghan Markle attending the Royal event, next month. This is understandable, as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex soiled the reputation of her husband, father-in-law, and the Royal family in general. Next month’s coronation promises to be an explosive affair, where rivalries and feuds are set to play out in the open.
Kate Middleton Doesn’t Want Meghan Markle to Attend King Charles’s Coronation
According to the royal expert Eloise Parker, Kate Middleton is glad that Meghan Markle is not attending King Charles’s coronation ceremony next month. However, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry will be attending the grand ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6.
Talking about Kate Middleton and Markle the royal expert told Entertainment Tonight,
“I think there’s bound to be some relief from William and Kate that Meghan won’t be attending the coronation simply because less emphasis is going to be on them, who’s looking where, who’s lip reading, what’s going on between them.”
She continued,
“There’s such a fever of interest in these relationships and the truth is we’re never going to see a Real Housewives moment between these women. Everything is going to be kept firmly under wraps and I think for Kate, the fact that Meghan isn’t attending, helps her keep it that way.”
Another expert Tom Bower shares exclusive details about Markle and Middleton’s rift. Bower explained the reason why Kate Middleton is relieved by the Duchess of Sussex’s wife’s absence from the forthcoming ceremony of King Charles. He said,
“I think we must all be grateful, that Kate, in the end I think, prevented Meghan from coming and said she wouldn’t have her there under any circumstances.”
He continued,
“I do think that for the Royal Family, Harry’s presence is constitutionally important, after all if God forbid something happened to the Cambridges and all of them died, we’d have King Harry on the throne after Charles, so he’s got to be there. The question is, what is role will be when he gets to London? and I think that the arguments over the last few days have been very much to minimize his presence in the Abbey.”
While things remain awkward between the British royal family and Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton, and Prince William will attend the event alongside other guests on May 6, 2023.
