The feud that had been simmering between Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion seems to have reached a boiling point after Nicki Minaj added another audacious claim about her. Ever since Megan Thee Stallion dropped her track, Hiss, Nicki Minaj has lost it on social media, as many are seeing this as a diss track aimed at Minaj and her husband.

It is safe to say that Minaj has been spiraling ever since the release of the Diss track. Recently, Nicki Minaj stacked up another accusation in the laundry list of problems she has with Stallion that she calls a certain artist a “racist nickname” away from the prying eyes of the media and public scrutiny.

What Is This Feud Going On Between Nicki Minaj And Megan Thee Stallion?

Nobody will accuse the two rappers of ever really seeing eye-to-eye or being the best of friends. However, the recent feud between them would put Godzilla vs. Kong to shame. It all started with Megan Thee Stallion’s song Hiss, where the singer cleverly put a line that apparently throws massive shade at Nicki Minaj

“These ho*s don’t be mad at Megan, these ho*s mad at Megan’s law.”

Megan’s Law is a federal law in the US that requires information about registered s*x offenders to be made available to the public. Listeners were quick to connect the dots between the lyrics and the recent controversy surrounding Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, who pleaded guilty to the attempted r*pe of a 16-year-old (he was also 16 at the time).

A year later, Petty’s victim, Jennifer Hough, filed a harassment case against Minaj and Petty, saying they tried multiple times to make her take back the case. However, Minaj was eventually dropped from the lawsuit. Ever since the release of the song, the singers have been clapping back at each other on social media. Nicki Minaj went on Instagram Live and shared a verse preview from her upcoming song and the lyrics of it went something like

“Bad b*tch she like 6 foot, I call her big foot, the b*tch fell off I said get up on your good foot”

This was not well-received by many fans, as it seemingly referred to the incident of Stallion being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020. Lanez was found guilty at the trial and Megan Thee Stallion emotionally spoke up about the harassment she received, saying,

“I don’t feel like I want to be on this earth. I wish he would have just shot and killed me if I knew I would have to go through this torture.”

Clearly, it was a low blow, but to add insult to injury, Minaj also posted a picture of her leg on X. On Friday morning, Stallion was called into The Breakfast Club, where the host asked her about Hiss and she said, “I’m saying a hit dog gon’ holler.” She also posted a picture on her Instagram story, laughing hysterically and airing out how she feels about the whole ordeal.

Did Nicki Minaj Accuse Megan Thee Stallion Of Calling Cardi B With A “Racist Nickname?”

According to Pop Base on X (formerly Twitter), Nicki Minaj is at it again and this time she has claimed that Megan Thee Stallion has a racist side no one knows about. She goes on to accuse Stallion of calling a certain artist she collaborates with a lot “that dirty Mexican.”

“The nickname you got for your homegirl that rap. Tell everybody the nickname you got for her. A racist nickname for a person you do songs with… Don’t you call her ‘that dirty Mexican?’”

Many have been wondering if the artist Minaj is referring to is Cardi B, as a lot of people confuse her ethnicity as Mexican. Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B have also collaborated on many projects together. Cardi B spent a lot of time on her social media accounts to educate people about her ethnicity. She said in 2019 that she is not Mexican at all.

“I’m not Mexican at all. I’m West Indian, and I’m Dominican. I speak Spanish because I’m Dominican. And it’s like, so what’s the difference between Dominican and Mexican?’ And it’s like, everything!”

It remains to be seen how Cardi B claws her way into the beef with her six-inch nails.

Hiss can be streamed on any major music streaming platform.
