Disney canceled Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. after two seasons.
Just months after ending the Doogie Kamealoha M.D. season 2, Disney has officially announced the cancellation of this show. Doogie Kamealoha M.D. starring Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Matthew Sato, Milo Manheim, Alex Aiono, Jason Scott Lee and many others is a medical comedy drama that revolves around 16-year-old Dr. Lahela aka Doogie Kamealoha. This series ran for two seasons from 2021 to 2023 and now has an official canceled by the studio.

A Bad Year of Disney Prolongs
The year 2023 from its very beginning has been very disappointing for both Disney and all of its franchises. Even one of the most awaited movies Ant-Man 3 did not perform as per the exceptions. Apart from the box office failures many of the Disney + shows and series have not worked out as per their standards.
Considering all of these issues the CEO of the company Bob Iger has suggested a strategic change in the company and its content. Both the disappointment at the box office and the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WAG strikes have led the company to cancel out many of its shows on its OTT platforms. As per the reports apart from Doogie Kamealoha M.D, the studio has also canceled other shows like The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and Big Shot.
Not only this since the last three months of 2022 the firm has lost 2.4 million subscribers. Despite this loss, the firm is now said to raise its Disney+ cost to $13.99 per month starting October 12 and also will be cracking down on password sharing to recover potential lost earnings.
Even though efforts are been adopted by the studio and its content creators there has not been any improvement up till now as the box office disappointment continues with their recent release.
