Disney+ Reportedly Taking a Major Gamble in the Mandalorian Season 4, Divides Pedro Pascal Fans
The Mandalorian is one of the most popular live-action shows in the world. It is worth noting that the show is also the first live-action series of the legendary franchise, Star Wars. It follows the adventures of Din Djarin who tries to protect Grogu from the bounty hunters.
The first season of the show was released back in 2019, and since then, two more seasons have been released. Moreover, fans are highly excited for the fourth season, however, it looks like the upcoming installment won’t be a TV show.
Pedro Pascal fans are unhappy with The Mandalorian season 4 rumours
While it has been reported that Jon Favreau, the head writer of the show has been writing the next part of The Mandalorian since 2022, the show has not gone into filming just yet. However, recent rumours have suggested that the upcoming instalment will be a theatrical movie and not a TV series.

It is worth noting that season 3 of the show which concluded back in April earlier this year ended all the storylines across the series to date. As a result, the risk being taken by the makers of the show does make sense in a way. However, the fans of Pedro Pascal, who is the lead actor of the show are seemingly unhappy with the news.

Will Pedro Pascal return for The Mandalorian season 4?
Ever since the news of The Mandalorian season 4 being in the works broke out, there has been constant speculation surrounding Pedro Pascal. The actor plays the titular role of Mandalorian in the series and it’s safe to say the franchise will not be the same without him.
While speaking about his return for The Mandalorian season 4 during an interview with RadioTimes, Pedro Pascal had this to say:
“There’s such preciousness around even saying that I’m signed up for season four if it’s already written, I’m naturally a blabbermouth, but I really get protective of it, because I get a thrill out of the surprises that are in store for the audience.”
Pedro Pascal has certainly raised fans’ anticipation for the upcoming season of the show and it will be interesting to see if he remains a part of the show.
