Scott Derrickson echoes that he is very concerned about Sam Raimi becoming the director for- Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.   Sam has directed famous films like Sinister and The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS

Although fans are definitely disappointed to know that Derrickson will not be directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness .They are  fascinated to know that Sam Raimi may direct the film.

Now, Derrickson recaps, not having any ill feelings being replaced.  Derrickson while posting on twitter, restated that he supports Raimi taking over the direction of the film in the Multiverse of Madness. In the recent tweet, he supports Raimi for directing the film.

At this point, there isn’t a lot known about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.The film originally believed to be a horror movie, but Kevin Feige later explained that Doctor Strange 2  won’t be a horror movie.

It would be a film with some “scary sequences. The film will reportedly include the Strange’s fellow sorcerers Brother Voodoo and Clea, as well as the return of Mordo.

Derrickson has repeatedly expressed his support for Raimi, and so have Marvel fans. Creating a full-on horror movie could have given fans a fresh addition to the MCU, but Raimi seems to fit Marvel’s agenda.

Even though Derrickson isn’t involved with the project anymore. It’s still relieving to know that he is supportive of Raimi taking control of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
