‘Don’t Bite The Hand That Feeds You’: Emma Watson Fans Defend Actor After JK Rowling Apologists Rip Her To Shred
Internet people who are obviously fans of JK Rowling attack Emma Watson for her recent statements about picking up the Harry Potter books again. According to sources close to the actress, she won’t work on a new installment of the series if JK Rowling is on board.
The 32-year-old actress’ choice, though, split the web, with several asserting that JK Rowling and the Harry Potter book series are to blame for the actress’s success as an actor.
Will Emma Watson Return?
Sources close to Emma are saying that she will only return to Harry Potter only if JK Rowling is willing to leave. This statement made by her has the internet divided. Some people think she said this because of the recent transphobic statement made by JK Rowling.
Another side of the internet thinks that she is a ‘”Brat” and will be nothing without JK Rowling. According to “reliable and confirmed sources,” the actress only will re-join the franchise provided the novelist who developed the book is not engaged in any way, according to a report from Giant Freaking Robot.
Past Of Harry Potter
Because of the Harry Potter films, Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson became overnight celebrities. These movies set blockbusters, won numerous awards, and irrevocably altered pop culture.
Amongst the most popular franchises in history is the Harry Potter series of films. Warner Bros. can’t seem to let go of the concept of continuing the original eight movies. Even if they also can’t seem to figure out how to make them work.
What Can Possibly Happen In The Future?
Emma Watson has starred in a variety of movies since the conclusion of the first eight Harry Potter movies, along with the Disney live-action version of Beauty and the Beast and her last movie was Little Women in 2019. It would appear likely that Warner Bros is pursuing her more aggressively than the other studios. Despite the fact that she hasn’t appeared in a film since 2019.
This leaves Warner Bros in the situation of perhaps having to pick between both. The comeback of one of the franchise’s original stars or the writer.

Watson, quite frankly, has not starred in a single movie worth watching

Every story worth its salt has a variety of moral lessons, even if written by people who later turn out to be ignorant. I don't agree with JK Rowling but saying it's just a book about a wizard school is underselling it quite a bit. There are lessons to be gleamed, even today.

You do not think JK Rowling had the final say in who was in her movie?

We will have to wait and see how this turns out. Will Emma continue to work with JK Rowling or not?
