Dragon Ball DAIMA started amidst much hype because it is the last installment presided over by the late legendary manga artist Akira Toriyama. Here, we see Earth facing a new threat from Gomah, the new king of the demon world following Dabura’s death.

After witnessing the entire journey of Goku defeating Majin Buu, Gomah decides that he is a threat to his own new rule. Gomah then, with the help of Shenron, turns Goku, along with his friends, into children. However, that does little to squash Goku or Vegeta’s will to defeat Gomah and other new threats.

This anime faced many ups and downs in its quality of storytelling and character growth. But after a decent run for almost 18 episodes, things finally picked up in episode 19. Now, fans eagerly anticipate the finale, hoping to be served one of the best episodes of this season yet.

This episode certainly sets up the perfect stage for the upcoming final battle that will happen between Goku and Gomah. It begins with Glorio performing his masterstroke by wishing that Goku, Vegeta, and others return to their adult forms. Things finally become interesting, and we see Vegeta stepping up for his turn to fight Gomah.

However, Gomah is not worried as he knows any kind of blows or power-ups are useless against him because his third eye will not let him lose. But that is not something that stops Vegeta from fighting a stellar fight.

We see him seamlessly using his Super Saiyan 3 form, but even after countless very powerful moves against Gomah, he remains without a single scratch. Sensing this cannot continue, Dr Arinsu decides to intervene. Gathering knowledge from the book of magic items, she let Goku know that the only way Gomah’s Tertian Oculus can be removed is by hitting him in the back of the head three times.

So, the final plan is set in motion, where Goku will fight and create an opening for Piccolo. He will then take the chance to hit Gomah. But before that, Vegeta needs to stop fighting, and Bulma hilariously manages to achieve that.

The highlight of this episode is definitely the last part, where we see Goku go through Super Saiyan 1, 2, and 3 forms one after another to reach his Super Saiyan 4 form.

What to expect from Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 20?

Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 20 is supposed to showcase the final fight between Gomah and Goku. In his Super Saiyan 4 form, Goku should be able to handle his opponent without any issues. However, if this is still not enough, then we might be up for a feast.

There can be the return of Gogeta if Goku and Vegeta decide to fuse together in their Super Saiyan 4 form. As this form is extremely powerful but also quickly diffuses, it should be perfect to create the necessary opening that Piccolo needs to perform his part.

Whatever ends up happening, one thing is certain; the animation is going to produce one of the most visually spectacular episodes yet. A Gogeta appearance will also be the greatest high fans can get after waiting tirelessly for 19 episodes.
