Since the past few months, the news of the divorce between Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen is only getting nastier with time. It all started when Brady decided to un-retire from NFL after which Bündchen decided to call it quits. After months since Page Six reported about their “epic fight” before deciding to go separate ways, another piece of information is out saying that reportedly Bündchen had given Brady an ultimatum before deciding to separate. And apparently, Brady did not take heed. The couple has already started living separately.
What led to Gisele Bündchen’s Decision to File for Divorce?
The decision came after Tom Brady decided to return to the field after only 40 days of retiring. Gisele Bündchen had been concerned about Brady’s profession as an NFL player for a long time. She was especially worried over the chance of the NFL quarterback sustaining a head injury that could occur on the field. On top of that according to Bündchen, the schedules of the NFL demanded too much time. Tom Brady was away from home for 6 months straight. And the Victoria’s Secret model who mostly prefers being at home with their children wants the same from Brady.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback did retire for a brief period at the start of the year. But decided to un-retire after only 40 days. Around the time Brady tweeted explaining, “These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands,”
He further explained that the time to retire would come later and that he was not ready to quit just yet. Brady added, “I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG.”
This announcement was followed by a fight between Brady and Bündchen. And according to Page Six source at the time informed that both had hired high-profile lawyers to settle the divorce.
Gisele Bündchen Reportedly offered an Ultimatum
Things have been getting nasty between the Victoria’s Secret model and the NFL quarterback for the past few months. Both of them have hired high-profile with experience in settling nasty divorces. The two are ready to fight in court. Sources inform that the couple wants joint custody of the four children. All that is left is to divide their shared assets fairly.
Amid all of this, according to Page Six, it is reported that Bündchen had offered Brady an Ultimatum before deciding to separate. She asked Brady if he had to choose between family and marriage or his profession. But clearly, the NFL quarterback made his decision to choose football over his marriage. And now the divorce is inevitable as Bündchen was also spotted without her wedding ring. Furthermore, both of them are living separately.
