This Saturday was full of surprises for Twitter users, as the X owner, billionaire, Elon Musk flooded the site with his surprising and one-of-its-kind tweets. The X boss first tweeted about X’s latest ad revenue-sharing program which is a significant step for content creators on the platform, allowing them to monetize their presence and engage with their followers while being compensated for their efforts. This was followed by an even more attention-grabbing tweet that talked about how X will fund the legal costs of users in case they are unfairly treated by their employer for posting or liking content on the platform.

The previous day billionaire, Elon Musk revealed in a tweet that going forward Twitter which is now rebranded as X pay the legal fees of anyone who’s been “unfairly treated” by their employer for posting or liking content on Twitter.
His Saturday night Tweet read, “If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know.”
But the problem with his generous announcement is that the owner of the site hasn’t made clear how people should reach out, let alone define what “unfairly treated” might mean. Musk who is well-known for making unexpected tweets that may or may not materialize into company policy, did not post any follow-up tweet for further clarification. However, the tweet has caught worldwide attention and reportedly many users were very excited about the idea.
Elon Musk Reveals Major Update On Ad Revenue Sharing
Elon Musk recently announced that Twitter which is now being rebranded as X will take some time to transfer the share of ad revenue to the content creators due to the large amount of requests. X has officially launched its ads revenue program for eligible creators worldwide. This program offers verified users the opportunity to earn money through ad impressions on their tweets and profiles.
Musk’s Saturday tweet read, “Interest in ad rev share by content creators has far exceeded our expectations, so will take a few more days to process. Major payouts coming soon!,”
But the important part of the program is that only the subscribers of X Premium (Blue) will be eligible to receive their share in the ad revenue and Musk clearly stated that the ad revenue share of the non-premium members will be kept by the company.
