Emily Blunt Found Husband John Krasinski’s Whole Family Dangerous Due To Their “Sheer Dimension”
Actress Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski are, without a doubt, one of the most iconic duos in the entertainment industry both on and off the screen. The two of them met in 2008 at a Los Angeles restaurant through a mutual friend. The pair got married in 2010 and share two daughters, Hazel Grace and Violet.

Emily Blunt calls John Krasinski a ‘shrimp’ compared to his brothers
On her appearance on The Ellen Show, Emily Blunt spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about her trip to the Bahamas with her husband John Krasinski. The couple were accompanied by Krasinski’s family as well. She mentioned that his family is large in ‘sheer dimension’. Blunt went on to explain,
“They’re just massive people. John’s like a shrimp at 6’3’’ compared to rest of them. His brothers are like 6’9’’ and 6’8’’. They’re sort of absurdly tall.”
Blunt continued,
“You could use only golf carts in the resort we went to. And just to see enormous giants try and get into golf carts. It was amazing. They’d be driving like this. (Shows action) It’s dangerous.”
John Krasinski is the youngest of his siblings with two elder brothers Paul Krasinski and Dr. Kevin Krasinski. The actor has kept his family out of the spotlight but on occasions have mentioned that he is very grateful for them.

Oppenheimer actress Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski graced the carpet of the Golden Globes 2024 and once again managed to impress the viewers. The moment, that made their fans go gaga once again was when Krasinski stepped aside for his lady to get some solo shots on the carpet. Blunt looked stunning in her gold gown by Sarah Burton.
Emily Blunt appeared as Kitty Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and was highly appreciated for her performance. Krasinski has never missed a chance to appreciate his wife, as back in 2018, during an interview with Vanity Fair, he said,
“The air changes in the room when she starts doing what she does. It’s so honest and so pure and so powerful. It’s like a superpower that she can just unlock and do so specifically with not many attempts.”
Krasinski who is famous for his role as Jim Halpert on The Office compares his acting skills to his wife’s and says,
“This weird intersection happened while filming where I totally forgot I was her husband. I was just watching her performance and was lucky enough to be in the front row.”
The couple have appeared in A Quite Place & A Quite Place Part II together. When Blunt won her SAG Award in 2019 for A Quiet Place, she praised Krasinski in her speech,
“I am going to share this completely with my husband, John Krasinski, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly. You are stunning filmmaker. I am so lucky to be with you and to have done this film with you.”
In 2020, Blunt mentioned to People magazine that having Krasinski’s support is everything to her because they are each other’s confidant. She added that they share an understanding that has been a very vital anchor for her.
