‘Ending’ of Aquaman Explained
Aquaman is finally in the theaters, and for those who wish to know, we’ve got everything you need to know on how it ends right here.
Aquaman’s forces come to help the Brine fend off Ocean Master and the forces of the other kingdoms. Eventually, that leads to a one on one battle atop a submarine, where both face off with their tridents in hand. Both hit pretty hard and land huge blows, but Arthur turned the tide as he utilized a technique taught to him by Vulko when during his early years, and it’s enough to knock Orm back and also destroy his trident in the process.
Orm is surprised by this unexpected defeat, And also the appearance of Atlanta, who Arthur and Mera found alive on their search for the trident of King Atlan. She tells Orm what happened and while she sides with Arthur, she lets Orm know that she also loves him. Atlantean soldiers take Orm away, and Arthur claims his place as the King of Atlantis.
Things then cut to the lighthouse as the sun rises. Arthur’s father walks out onto the dock like he has since Atlanna left him hoping that she will finally meet him there as she said. When he goes out this time though he finds her standing on the dock waiting for him, and the couple share an embrace.
This completed Arthur’s first solo adventure and you can read more about the film here:
“From Warner Bros.
