Lilly’s Appearances On Screen

Evangeline Lilly, from Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, admitted that she does not keep up with all Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows and movies, and has no idea about what is actually going on in the universe. Lilly debuted in Hollywood as Kate in Lost before playing Hope Van Dyne in Ant-Man (2015). She again played a similar role in Avengers: Endgame and will continue playing in Ant-Man 3 as well.

I don’t actually watch all the Marvel stuff and I don’t always know what’s going on completely in the Marvel universe. Maybe I shouldn’t admit that, but I don’t,” she said. While some viewers could see this as dismissive, it remains constrained by the fact that she is not required to know everything that is happening around the Marvel Universe to play Hope Van Dyne in it. She has prominently proved to be a part of the franchise and will continue to do so whether or not being an MCU encyclopedia.
