Chris Rock rocked London’s O2 Arena as he is currently touring with Dave Chappelle in their European stand-up tour. While addressing the controversy, Chris Rock started his stand-up set by mentioning Will Smith’s apology video and called it a “hostage video”.
The comedian felt the physical pain apart from the social media reactions
As the stadium was filled, Chris Rock jokingly mentioned the physical pain caused by the slap. He said, “Yes that sh*t hurt. He played [Muhammad] Ali. I can’t even play Floyd Mayweather.” The comedian referred to the Oscar-winning actor as, “Suge Smith”. He referred to hip hop artist and entrepreneur Marion Hugh “Suge” Knight Jr., who is serving a 28-year prison sentence for voluntary manslaughter in a fatal 2015 hit-and-run case.

Chris Rock said, Will Smith, “hit [me] over a bullshit joke”. While responding to the joke that the comedian made about Jada Smith’s bald head at the Oscars evening, he added, “the nicest joke ever told”. His partner on stage, David Chappelle added that will Smith, “did an impression of a perfect man for 30 years”.

Later during his set, Chris Rock told that he moved on to the slap controversy the night after and went back to work. The comedian did not want to be the victim and later said, “I shook that sh*t off and went to work the next day. I don’t go to the hospital for a paper cut,”. He added that he talked about Donald Trump’s election and the personal lives of the Kardashian family in his standup sets.
